If the seal gets pinched, you&amp;rsquo;ll lose that waterproof protection.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Now, let&amp;rsquo;s be honest. Using modular connectors means you have more points where things &lt;em&gt;could&lt;/em&gt; go wrong compared to a single soldered joint.&#xA;To handle that, we used high-temp reinforced polymers for the sockets.
